Abstract: In the midst of rising concerns towards environmental degradation and numerous suggested ways to mitigate these losses, ecopreneurship is one of the approaches, which can help to re-establish a positive behaviour towards environment among businesses that are major contributors towards environmental problems caused due to economic activities. This article lays emphasis in encouraging this positive eco-behaviour in ‘young entrepreneurs’ right from the beginning by imparting education, training and development on it to transform them into ecopreneurs. In addition, it also highlights the need for adoption of ecoprenuerial education in higher education institutions and universities to integrate the concept of environmental thinking and sensitizing the future industrialists towards it. The proposed framework on ecopreneurship indicates a relation between motivators and the behavioral constructs of ecopreneurship that eventually helps in promoting eco efficient organizations and open doors for further research. The research article suggests that empirical research in coming years on this framework will help it to deepen its roots in this field and introduce itself as a substantial model for ecopreneurship that will be useful in training young entreprenuers of all sectors for an inclusive sustainable growth and development.
