Thirteenth Biennial Conference on Entrepreneurship/ Edited by Sasi Misra, Sunil Shukla, Ganapathi Batthinien_US
In the world of transnational corporations, globalization, broad international contacts in the fields of culture, science and economics, we are now looking for ways to facilitate and improve these contacts. The purpose of the article is to present and compare Polish, Chinese and Indian concepts of leadership. The Polish concept was developed and based on the findings of the leading Polish praxiologist Tadeusz Kotarbiński. Business ethics and management in Poland are largely based on the considerations of the aforementioned professor. The Indian management ethos is presented on the basis of Buddhism, Bhagavadgita and Tirukkural. Chinese ethos is largely shaped by Confucian and Taoist concepts. The indicated concepts of course do not exhaust the issue of leadership ethos in these countries, but they undoubtedly have significant influence on this ethos. One can put forward a proposition that all these concepts are the varieties of servant leadership. Perhaps the noble ideas created in various places and at different times have much in common.en_US
