Abstract: The current economy of innovation and dynamic changes require efforts not only in proving employment but creating employment. According to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) entrepreneurial setup on an average provide more job opportunities as compared to the tradition companies. There is a high contribution of startup entrepreneurs in the economy across the world. The once startups like Infosys and the current success story like Alibaba have not only drastically changed the employment and business dynamic but have affected the growth of their home city. Bangalore and Hangzhou are strong example of the same. In countries like India where every year more than a 100 million jobs are required startup entrepreneurship is apt strategy for fostering innovation, new jobs and competitive dynamics. India is a home to almost 3100 startups starting per year as per to the NASSCOM report of 2015. According to the research of Forbes 2015 90% of the startups fail and there are many reasons for the same. The current paper is an effort to understand the factors influencing the successful scale-up for any startup entrepreneurial venture.
