Abstract: | Entrepreneurship Education is a dynamic process of innovation, creation and skill development... This paper makes an attempt to investigate the importance and role of universities and entrepreneurship development institutes in the promotion of entrepreneurship in India. The researchers make an in-depth analysis on the role of select universities and Institutes for the promotion of entrepreneurship education in North Eastern States of India. The paper also includes the challenges of imparting entrepreneurship education and also the attitude of the students towards entrepreneurship education and profession. Both primary and secondary data are used in the present study. The data collected are tabulated, analysed by using statistical tools like mean, percentage etc. The main finding of the present study is that the present theoretical study fails to motivate majority of the students to choose entrepreneurship as carrier in future and suggest some policy recommendation in order to solve the challenges of entrepreneurship education. |
