dc.description.abstract | “Two degrees and the SDGs”, is the new business mantra for sustainable business globally. Companies have begun to align their sustainability goals and their operational goals with the global Environmental obligations. The businesses are showing better financial performance after desired understanding and acceptability of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. High degree of entrepreneurial spirit and acumen is required to strike balance between the ‘Economic growth’ and ‘environmental sustainability’, the two essential conditions for life in human societies. Despite the serious warnings globally the excessive emphasis on industrial output led to disrupting the fragile balance of economy and ecology. This has created havoc especially in emerging economies as this society faces the maximum Rahman, et.al( 2013), endorses that transition towards green economy can assist in solving the environmental related problem along with enhancing the wellbeing of BOP. Women entrepreneurs participation in this cause has been inclusive, sustainable and propelling the growth of a green economy. This paper tries to identify the impact of women’s Green Entrepreneurial innovative ventures from the emerging economies who are participating to rebuilding the society and the environment as a whole for sustainable development. | en_US |
