dc.description.abstractDesk top publishing (DTP) unit is an electronic system used for composing texts, designing layouts, preparing design and data processing for printing. The DTP is an improvement ever Photo Type Setting (PTS) and has several advantages in terms of cost efficiency, time efficiency and variety. With rapid improvements in printing technology, modern printing presses with offset machines find it appropriate to have processed text for their printing machines. A DTP unit can be set up independently and it is not essential to install offset printing press along with a DTP unit.en_US
