dc.description.abstractTransmission line is an important element of power system as they are used for transmitting power from generating stations to load centres. Designing of transmission line is a tough process as many factors are to be considered like electric field, magnetic field, radio interference, and audible noise, which are to be kept within permissible limits. In this paper, calculation of low-frequency fields (electric and magnetic fields) and corona effects (radio interference and audible noise) are done using MATLAB programming and software is developed which provides user access to enter design data and plot lateral, longitudinal and 3D plots of double circuit configuration for a 765-kV EHVAC transmission line.en_US
