In fact he is one who has the initiative, skill for innovation and who looks for high achievements. He is a catalytic agent of change and works for the good of people. He puts up new green field projects that create wealth, open up many employment opportunities and leads to the growth of other sectors. Odisha is abundant in natural resources from coveted minerals to forest and water yet or people remain poor. Most of the people are dependent on primary sector or tertiary sector, hardly few people are entrepreneurs or interested to be involved in entrepreneurship as their means of livelihood. It is because of poor motivation, low risk taking ability, problem solving, etc. In this context we tried to find out 50 successful entrepreneurs from different corners of Odisha with the objective to show case the stories of entrepreneurs and their enterprises which would be an example for the upcoming entrepreneurs and in particular, the young minds. Later on efforts will be taken to incorporate this compendium as a non-detailed study material for secondary and higher education level in order to create motivation among them
