Abstract:
A well-established chain retail garments showroom in Tamil Nadu, present
strongly in Chennai and Tier II cities plans to extend its operations in Tier III
towns, starting from North Tamil Nadu. For them, this study was done in three
prominent towns through data collection, statistical analysis and suggests an
appropriate town, based on observations also. Two districts were selected and
fitting three towns were chosen for study based on the popularity and wealth of
the region. Five thousand people were selected as respondents for the study and
based on their responses and geographical analysis, the recommendation was
made to the retailer. Selective and apt statistical tools were selected to analyze the
