Abstract:
The field of digital entrepreneurship has rapidly evolved in recent years, driven by the proliferation of digital technologies and the increasing importance of online business models. Research on digital entrepreneurship initially focused on more general definitions, emphasising the shift of business transactions to the digital sphere and the ‘purely electronic creation of value’. Over time, the definitions became more nuanced and expansive, considering the use of digital media and information technologies to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
