Abstract:
This study investigates the impact of agricultural resources on farmers’ engagement through the mediating
role of personal resources. A structured questionnaire and face to face interaction method is used to collect the
primary data (five-point Likert scale) from the farmers in Davangere district, Karnataka state. Secondary data
collected from various journals, textbooks, internet, newspapers, and magazines. Convenience sampling from
non-probability sampling method is used to avail the data from respondents who are conveniently available to
participate in this study. To satisfy the research objectives, respondents were selected because they were in the
position to provide the best information. Correlation matrix, Regression (Process Macro), Mean and Standard
deviation are utilized to calculate the results. To test the validity and reliability, we are using the Cronbach
alpha by using the SPSS (22nd Version). The authors' findings are unique and clearly, indicate that
agricultural resources and personal resources plays significant role in farmers’ engage in the agricultural
land.
