In the recent era, entrepreneurship is evolved as potential sector for employment
generation and economic development across the globe. In this context, factors
such as demographic, regional, individual role, behavioral and ecosystem factors
have its own significance to entrepreneurship in literature. Although the
significance of these factors in new venture formation varies across the regions.
Therefore, researchers claim the urge to explore these factors in different context
to strengthen the speed of new venture creation. This research explores the
influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and ecosystem provides by the Indian
institution to foster entrepreneurship intention. The data is collected from Indian
Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) using survey questionnaire. This research
also highlights the impact of controlled variables such as gender, educational
level, and Indian geographic regions on entrepreneurial intention of the students. |
