Abstract:
Entrepreneurship has been recently received greater attention from policy makers in
Iran as an necessary solution to resolve the job unemployment issues for
youth(Sarfaraz and Faghih 2011).Entrepreneurship means the route of generating
value added products within time frame needed and utilizing necessary efforts and
resources along with the physical, social and financial risk taking ability in order to
achieve self-pleasure, independence and suitable earnings (Ali Shahhoseini,
2004).Females are crossing men’s bastion and are leading at forefront in global
economic development and expansion of country worldwide but much of the existing
research has focused on male entrepreneur’s giving very less attention to female
entrepreneurs (Brush, C. G. (1992), Bardasi, E., et.al, 2011). In accordance with the
Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in 2011, entrepreneurship is budding
rapidly with the speedy rate and women entrepreneurship has become a matter of
alarm for all countries (Syeda et.al 2017, Arasti,Z., Tarzamny ,E.,2013).Even though
women entrepreneurs are establishing their enterprise but still they lack lesser
entrepreneurial activities than men ,Langowitz, N., & Minniti, M. (2007). According
to Statistics only 10% of women are entrepreneurs in Iran and this shows the
declining ratio which prevents growth of women entrepreneurs in the 21stcentury. In
this article with the challenges and health issues they undergoes; this paper will
review the studies finding out the lacunae’s evaluating other articles effectively. The
author systematically searched different journals of Web of Science, Scopus, SCI-e,
SSCI to analyze the challenges and obstacles of women entrepreneurs in Iran. The
study used is secondary data to analyze and evaluate the results and determine the
conclusion. Also results were evaluated from websites which analyses the growth of
women entrepreneur in Iran. With the globalization and technical era there is a vast
difference seen in physical, mental and social health issues being women
entrepreneurs. Thus in the country like Iran, stress, mental disorders and health
issues must be balanced properly in order to cope up with daily routine.
