The Craftsmanship of Terracotta and Pottery is related to the emotions, creative
mind & soul of a person, which are used by him in this specific area of handicraft
giving the life to soil. This Craftsmanship is as old as our civilization. Earlier
Terracotta Pottery products (like Vessel, Pitcher, Tea pot/ Purva, Deep, Idols of God
& Goddess etc) were used either for cold drinking water in summer or for taking hot
tea or for worship, festival and cultural value. Now the time has changed and
because of diversification in products of these industries, it has become a status
symbol to decorate the houses & drawing rooms with Terracotta decorative items
among all classes of people. |
