Abstract:
The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is a national resource institution engaged in entrepreneurship education, research, training, and institution-building. It was started with a mission to facilitate the emergence of first-generation entrepreneurs in India and aid in the growth of existing enterprises. EDII is also focused on assisting in the transition of SMEs into growth-oriented enterprises. As an international resource centre in 'Entrepreneurship', the institute has trained more than 3500 officials from various countries in the past ten years, including more than 350 officials from the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Region.
