dc.description.abstract The purpose of this paper is to reveals the barriers in fish farming faced by the agripreneurs. The study also attempts to make an empirical analysis on the impact of agripreneurial barriers on productivity of fish farming.This descriptive research is conducted on 370 agripreneurs of Manipur. Stratified random sampling is used to collect the primary data. Cronbach’s Alpha was used to test the reliability of the 10 variables. Statistical tools like descriptive statistic, correlation, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis have been used.The study reveals that agripreneurial barriers in fish farming has positive correlations with the knowledge of fish farming whereas barriers in fish farming has negative correlation with size of family, longevity in fish farming and productivity of fish. Multiple regression shows that some personal characteristics of agripreneurs has an impact on barriers in fish farming and barriers in fish farming also predict the productivity of fish in the study area. The study is limited to some barriers in fish farming. Primary data has its own limitation. The study can be used by the concerned authorities to bring sustainable development through agripreneurship.The result of the paper shows the impact of agripreneurial barriers of fish farming on productivity of fish in Manipur. en_US
