Abstract:
The industrial growth rate in India and abroad shows a dismal picture of the jobs in these sectors. It is also important to provide such employment to the educated mass been comes to the market every year in India. The careers in the professional fields have its own limitations, unless it gets good opportunity. At the same time interest of students is increasing gradually for their own employment i.e. entrepreneurship these days. Many studies have been done to explain the major reasons for the increasing interest towards entrepreneurship. The findings of the present study indicate that general positive images of entrepreneurship are hindered because of lack of identifiable role models, poor communication management of successful individuals or
firms, less government emphasis on the entrepreneurial force and less or lower motivation of society for the own employment i.e. Family, Education system, Reference groups etc. The result and analysis of data also indicates that the majority student wants their own employment, it also indicates that the risk taking and sharing capacity of the respondents are less. The findings of this study also suggest that MKBU should
implement the detail entrepreneurship syllabus at every graduation and post graduation commerce and management syllabus, which should link with industry to offer a better knowledge and practical understanding of entrepreneurship. It provides wider understanding and opportunities into the students in developing themselves in entrepreneurship.
