Abstract:
Unemployment among educated yQuths is increasing alarmingly and creating serious
problems which apart from economic implications also fuels up social and moral
consequences in the region and more so in the case of rural and semi-urban areas.
Thus, in the present context, entrepreneurship is one of the most viable solutions to
encourage youths to take up entrepreneurship as an alternative career. This not
only makes a person self-employed but also helps in multiplication of jobopportunities
for the unemployed on the one hand and optimum utilization of underutilized
resources of the region on the other.
