Among the major problems faced by the country, unemployment is one. This problem is compounded by improper placement of human resource. More than 25% of the employed people are working on jobs they are not fit for. Besides lack of opportunities, a major factor contributing to this is absence of proper direction and information. Though the government has opened employment exchanges and bureaus, the objective of providing career guidance is not being served as they have been reduced to mere registration centres. |
