Abstract

Just as human beings, animals, birds and plants need water, the most precious gift of nature, similarly water is an important requirement for industries as well. But this is also an undisputable fact that in this era of industrial and economic progress, water is found to be most polluted. Water is a very good solvent too and hence various types of minerals easily dissolve in it due to which water becomes hard. If this type of hard water is directly used in industries then the capacity of machines decreases and there are problems in the maintenance too.
