dc.description.abstract Bricks are the most essential ingredient of building construction. Though building material technology has undergone a sea change but little has been achieved as an alternative to the traditional brick. With increasing population and the corresponding increase in housing construction, the demand for bricks is ever increasing. Brick production can be done right from small scale to large scale through automatic furnace. The scale of production and technology used would decide the capital investment. en_US
