Abstract:
Wheat flour or maida is a basic raw material for making
bread, biscuits, cakes and other bakery products and snack
foods. Whole wheat flour is used in making chapattis,
puries, parotha and other roasted cereal based products.
At present, per capita consumption of wheat is 185.4
grams. However the per capita consumption of the wheat
flour is slated to increase in the coming years.
