India has demonstrated its leadership in the Global IT
Software Industry during the last decade and its capabilities in
the sector are recognized world over. The strength of Indian IT
industry is clearly manifested with the following factors:
Indian Software and Services exports had reached INR
562.5 billion (USD 12.5 billion) in 200304.
The exports are
estimated to reach INR 733.5 billion (USD 16.3 billion) in FY
200405.
