Abstract:
Most solvents are usually produced by directly
separating naphtha or from desulfurized naphtha.
However, the solvent produced in this plant makes use
of the raffinate from naphtha cracking unit as a raw
material. This raffinate is the residual hydrocarbon
obtained after processing naphtha into ethylene, propylene,
butadiene and BTX by means of several treating
processes, such as thermal decompsotion, desulfurization
and hydrogenation, and aromatic compound
extraction. So the solvent produced here has some
characteristics as follows:
