dc.description.abstract Most solvents are usually produced by directly separating naphtha or from desulfurized naphtha. However, the solvent produced in this plant makes use of the raffinate from naphtha cracking unit as a raw material. This raffinate is the residual hydrocarbon obtained after processing naphtha into ethylene, propylene, butadiene and BTX by means of several treating processes, such as thermal decompsotion, desulfurization and hydrogenation, and aromatic compound extraction. So the solvent produced here has some characteristics as follows: en_US
