Abstract:
There are two impressive things
about socks (half hose): 1) socks most
frankly exhibit elasticity and plasticity
which are essentially characteristic of
knit; 2) the first step taken in mechanizing
the knitting industry began from the
development of the socks making machine
(hosiery machine).
