Abstract:
The cross-section of a V-belt is a
symmetrical trapezoid. Friction drive
power is provided by the grooved
pulley and wedge effect of the belt. V-belt is classified according to the
shape of the cross-section. The
standard shapes are M, A, B, C, D,
and E. But there are also all sorts of
derivations from the standard, depending
on the demand.
