dc.description.abstract Celloph ane adhesive tape was produced as a first adhesive tape, more than 30 years ago, in Japan and; since then, many other kinds of adhesive tapes have also been developed and produced such as soft-PVC tape, cloth tape, kraft-paper tape, Of'P tape and so on. With its convenience in modern life, these adhesive tapes have now been widely used in such various fields as packaging, electric insulation, in business, pharmaceutical and other industrial use. Table 1 shows annual production of various adhesive tapes in 1976 in Japan. en_US
