Abstract:
From the earliest times of mankind bags from
the hides of wild and later domesticated animals
have been manufactured to be used for collecting
and carrying fruit or game or whatever there
was collected or killed. Nowadays it is mainly
the hides or skins of cows, sheep, goats, horses,
pigs, some kinds of fishes and reptiles that are
used for the production.
