dc.description.abstract	Barrels, manufactured from soft wood, are in use since ancient time as storage vessel for liquid and other materials. Though nowadays Plastic vessels have invaded the market, still the use of wooden barrels continues and it observed that the demand for the same increasing due to rapid industrialisation. II.
