dc.description.abstract I. Products and its uses Cycle bells are known to all. The cycle bell is used to warn the pedestrains and others about the cyclists approaching them so that they give way to the cyclist. It consists mainly of a bell cap, a lever actuated by a spring. When the spring is depressed, the lever strikes the bell cup and creates sound. The lever returns to tho original position by spring action. ll. Market Potential As the demand for cycles IS increasing, the demand for bells is also going up. These are not supplied as original equipment by cycle manufacturers. Hence, they have to be marketed through cycle component dealers. en_US
