I. Product and its uses
Cotter Pin is a taper wedge, used to fasten
the bicycle crank with bottom bracket axle. It
consists of three parts, nut, washer and a taper
wedge or cotter pin. (Reserve list Sr. No. 698),
II. Market Poteutial
With the increase in demand of bicycles, a
number of units have come up for the manulacturing
of this item. The demand is ever growing
due to increase in population and purchasing
power of the people. The product has good
scope as original equipment for bicycle manufacturers
as well as spare parts market.
