dc.description.abstract I. Product and its Uses Diagonal scales are widely used by cartographers, surveyors and Engineers in Measuring or setting off distances upon geometrical and other drawings, maps plans etc. with correctness aimed at upto one hundredth part of milimeter. Different materials are used for the manufacture of these scales such as brass and other rust proof materials. However this scheme envisages manufacture of acrylic and brass diagonal scale etc. Protractors are used by cartographers, surveyors and engineers for measurement of angle or laying out angles of given values and checking angular work and are made of acrylic sheets. Flat rules made of acrylic or PVC material are used by surveyors by joining two points for working on plane table in the field. Tringular scales are used in the measurement of size and also to draw the drawing to required scale. The scale is triangular in the shape made from acrylic sheet. en_US
