Now the time has come when the conventional agricultural implements are being replaced by mechanical implements to increase the output. The tillage or harrow discs play an important role-in the breakage of clods and preparation of seed beds which are the main steps for cultivation. (b) Market Potential: Since the import of discs is banned and with the farmers becoming conscious of the modern methods of agriculture, the demand of tillage disc is on the increase. Our national Policy stresses the indigenous development of modern agricultural implements.
