dc.description.abstract I. Introduction, Product and its uses A. The drafting machine has now become a standard equipment practically in all large drawing offices. It is definitely established that by its aid, drawings can be made with greater accuracy and less fatigue, resulting in an increase of output. The drafting machine does all the functions of the T-square, set square, parallel rule protector and consists of a protracted head around which revolves a square with two detachable scales permanently fixed at right angles to each other. The unit is surmounted by handle and is securely anchored to the drawing board by a double parallelogram of bars which maintains its parallelism in every position on the boards. en_US
