dc.description.abstract I. Product and its uses Engineering scale is a basic requirement for mechanical and civil draughtsman's work in an engineering drawing office. This is also widely used by engineering students for preparing drawings in different proportions. They are used by Engineers, architects, surveyors and draughtsmen. They are available in card board sheets. They arc also made of transparent or milk white acrylic plastic witb an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The white card board scales are painted and the other plastic scales have graduated markings marked on a linear dividing machine. Steel rules are also one of the items of Engineers scales but widely used In workshops. en_US
