These are used for pulling water from the wells
and also for storing and carrying water and
other materials. Although in cities, the people
have started use of plastic buckets, 0.1. Buckets
being sturdy are commonly used in rural areas.

Due to sturdiness and long life the G.
buckets are preferred in rural areas. In villages
there is no substitute of G.I. buckets for pulling
water from the wells. These buckets are also
used for carrying materials from one place to
another. There is a regular demand for these
from rural areas as well as in cities.
