These pins are used in the sub-assembled parts of brakes and are rivetted and fixed on the front brake arch and rear brake arch. The guide pins keep the brake arches in position. The guide pins move the holes provided in the clamps fixed on the chain stay tubes and front fork tubes. The brake arches consist of' two guide pins each i. 4 Nos. per cycle. The sizes are varying from 3.5 mm. dia. to 5.7 mm, dia and 27 mm. 30 mm. length (Reserve list S. No. 708). n. Market Potential As the petrol prices are going up, the demand for bicycles is increasing day by day. The bicycle is known as common Man's vehicle and there is very good demand for it from rural areas. The demand for bicycle and bicycle parts is increasing in the home and export markets both. Generally the brake set manufacturers purchase this component from outside so this has to be marketed to the bicycle brake assemblers only. en_US
