dc.description.abstract I. Product and its uses Carriage is a mode of transport for carrying goods over short distance. Due to economic weakness of masses and low running cost the hand and animal drawn carriages are still in use. The carriage provides a source of employment to a small family. Wheel is one of the greatest invention of man. Its application in hand and animal drawn carts and carriage has reduced the human and animal efforts to. considerable extent and it is possible to carry heavy loads from one, place 10 another easily. In our country cheap human power is available and use of automobiles are limited. Even in bil:" cities the hand carts are being used -for construction work as well as for carrying goods mostly in the industrial areas. This profiles deals with the manufacture wooden wheels, handles, axles and rims. (Reserved list S. No. 7281). ll. Production Targets It is proposed to manufacture wheels, handles, axles and rims worth Rs. 7,25,000 per annum. en_US
