Abstract:
Entrepreneurship seems to act as an important basis for utilizing the mental and subjective capacities of Iranian women to benefit the society by their productive efforts. Benefiting this potential requires the investigation of their entrepreneurial conditions in details. Presumably they are encountering many obstacles and confronting hidden difficulties while wishing to implement their entrepreneurial activities. Their entrepreneurial success depends upon a particular set of mediating variables, which might be organized in a pattern of well thought and influential factors. The present study postulates a model, based on recognition of influential parameters, by concentrating on the Iranian woman's creativity and entrepreneurial ability, it reveals the direction in which their success can be foreseen. It is based on the recognition of subjective, social and environmental factors already available in the literature, and checked by the panel of experts for validity in connection to the Iranian environment. It leans on the balance of family and behaviors which acts as an important retarding element or breaking point in earning entrepreneurial success for women. The study is concentrated for model-making on the educated women entrepreneurs at Tehran as the statistical sample, which is being benchmarked by the rest of the Iranian society. The credibility of the proposed model is checked against in real world established entrepreneurs.
