I. Introdnction
A. The extent of present day use of Agricultural
Machinery in a basically agricultural
country like ours, needs no mention. Apart
from various agricultural implements, power
operated agricultural machinery such as Maize
hellers, seed cleaners, rice polishers and seed
tractors are some of other agricultural machinery
having field' applications in agriculture.
B. Market Potential
The demand for power operated agricultural
machinery will depend on the power supply
in the Villages. There is a good scope for
these machinery with the increased power supply
made available to most of the villages in
the country.
