Storaae of grains an~ other. commercial products is ~ ancient practice which was done in different ways in rural areas. The traditional method' of s~ring in gunny bags, plastic bags, underground PIts and mud pots involves wastage and drainage due to rodents and pests and spoilage due to seepage of water. In order to prevent this, use of steel storage bins is recommended.
