Abstract

I. Product and its uses Umbrella ribs are important components of the umbrella, on which is stitched the cloth. Thus the cloth is held in position by the ribs. The other important components of the umbrella are, runner, notch cap and ferrule etc. There are various designs and sizes of umbrella ribs depending upon their use. Many designs of fancy umbrellas have come in the market for use by women and children in addition to the commonly used umbrella.
