I. Product and its uses
Weigh bridge is a weighing device by which
the weight of a vehicle, either empty or full,
can be measured instantaneously. This device
is used at places where quick, weighing of cart
load, truck load or wagon load of material is
to be done. This is particularly required for
heavy industires like iron & Steel, coal mines,
sugar factories, jute mills, paper mills etc; where
weighing by manual method is not only uneconomical
and time consuming but often not
possible.
II. Market Potential
Weigh Bridges have got good demand from
heavy industries like iron and steel, coal mines
and other mines, sugar factories, jute mills, paper
mills and similar industries, where either raw
material or finished products are to be weighed
quickly in bulk. These are also in great demand
in transport agencies. Railways and shipyards.
With the growth of industrial activities in the
country demand for weigh bridges is also growing.
