Abstract

I. Products and its Uses Under the group of Agricultural Machinery, Winnower is a composite machine used for winnowing the grain produce, cleaning the grains from dust, husk, chaff and immature konnels. Simple type winnowing machine replaces effort of the farmers depending on winnowing their produce in open field with the help of wind. They can work comfortably in their sheds where grains are stored. The winnowers, power operated, generally vary in capacity of 500 kg per hour to 600 k~ per hour. The machine can be hand-operated or power operated. Other Agricultural machinery such as seed and grain cleaners-cum-grade Can also be included in the production. (Reserved list S. No. 500).
