Abstract:
There is no uniformity among researchers about on definition of social entrepreneurship. In a broader context
a social enterprise is meant for solving social problems with the help of social innovation and social values
creation. Hence, social value remains as an integral part of social enterprise. However, the numbers of studies
are limited in exploring how social values are generated through social entrepreneurial efforts. This Study
will help in understanding the of social value creation by social enterprises in society. For the purpose of the
study, the researcher has reviewed existing literatures on social entrepreneurship and given some case
examples of social enterprises in India and how have they created social value.
