In the core of environmental protection and technological development, exists the possibility of sustainable development. The impact of paints and its byproducts are very harmful for environment. Synthetic paints are major source of indoor air pollution and difficult to manage its post-application wastage. In this age of technology “Going Green” is the new hope, which exists towards saving world. The paper discusses novel development and changes in paint industries for green (ecofriendly) products. The Overview of paint industries, various applications, environmental effect, market challenges and opportunities for industries have been mentioned.
