dc.description.abstract Women Entrepreneurship is an essential part of human resource development. The development of women entrepreneurship is very low in India, especially in the rural areas. There are number of obstacles faced by women entrepreneurship during start-up stages and running up of their enterprises. These obstacles need to be addressed so that women can make a significant identity in entrepreneurship field. The aim of this paper is to discuss the issues regarding women entrepreneurship in rural India. This paper is mostly based on secondary data and some observation in the field. This paper focus on the problems, challenges of women entrepreneur in rural area. This paper also discusses the policies of Government of India. en_US
