dc.description.abstract ~he use of series or decorative bulbs is increasing day by day in Lao PDR. Being Ithe cheapest medium of good decoration and easy availability, it is used in 'almost all houses for decorative purposes. In this context, it would be apt to 'mention that on the occasion of celebration of Marriages, The Buddhist Lent, Ibirthdays and even during death, these lams are used for decoration. There is I considerable variety in the decorative bulb series like all bulbs lit together or alternate rows of bulbs being lit, or revolving series, etc. There are many cheap Ivarieties of such products available in Laos especially in Chinese markets in Imajor towns. However, these too are costly considering the import duties paid !which are considerably high. These Chinese markets themselves would become a 'source of raw material and also a good market to sell these products and there is a possibility of at least 15% margins on these products. There is hardly any local competition. The greatest marketable feature of this project is the ability to provide custom solutions to the customer. en_US
