Manufacturing of Metallic Washers

Abstract

IWashers are used with nuts and bolts on wooden and iron planks to tighten Joints of two angles. With its use, the joints attain strength and any kind of Imovement, leakage, and friction can be avoided. Washers are usually made up 'of iron (Black plain B.P. and Galvanized or G.I.). It is used in all fields like :Mechanical,Electrical, construction and Automobiles. Usually washers are round! rings with a hole in the middle, there are washers of other shapes as well made, for a specific purpose. Though this is a very simple product, no body in Laos is; manufacturing the same. Hardware shops import these products from Thailand and China. The raw material for these products are basically scrap steel sheets, Iwhich are available in large quantities in Laos. Over and above these factors, the j demand in wood and handicrafts industry for the product is also very high. There lis no technological requirement for this product and marketability of the product lis also very easy.
